New member from Colorado... Started hunting when I was 13 in various units through out the state then stopped at 17 when my hunting partner moved, met some new friends around 28 and started back up at 33 now and excited to learn some new things and possible new units to hunt. I have been successful in 25,44,22 and 211. All deer in various seasons and 1 Elk in 22 3rd season.
The past 5 years I have hunted 11 and 211 for deer and elk both with the first year being the only successful year which is a bummer so I'm now looking for new unit/units to do a deer and elk hunt.
Very excited to be here and start researching new units!!!

Thank you, still getting use to it as this is my first forum. I may have accidentally posted in the wrong spot about figuring out a hunt in Colorado in the elk section, might be better off posting in the Colorado section lol.

Nah...you're fine, just don't post the same post in two sections, that's not a lot of fun having two parallel conversations going on :)

Welcome to the forum!

The CPW website is probably the best in the West and the CO MRS is in this month's EBJ, which should be in mailboxes shortly. The CO research section is roughly 25 densely packed pages of info, with more commentary than last year and even more info available in the digital version.
