I don't think it is going to go more that just over 300". My guess is 304. I think if we had a couple more angles it wouldn't look as good as this pic shows.

These angles are a tough comparrison, but I'd say that frame wise, these two bulls are not all that different, with the OP's bull having longer 1's, 2's, and 3's.

That was exactly my take and still is after looking at this other bull, so I still think the OP bull will come close or better than 330". He's much better than this bull that got a P&Y certificate for being 285" net.

All in good fun anyway.

Lib,

I see a huge difference in the frames of those bulls especially when looking at the head sizes, but I could be wrong. Still, my bull gets a 10" bump simply from an extra tine.

Top-Gun,

When I go back and forth between the OP's bull and your 285, they sure look similar to me.

It will be fun to find out.

Again, I am not trying to talk down the OP's trophy. It is a great trophy to be proud of.

BB---That's a ND friend with his 2009 bull and the exact reason I put it up to see what you'd say. I was hoping you'd come back with what you did because I agree with you on your similarity statement and why it's so hard to guess scores looking at one picture on the net. I've seen big arguments on threads where guys come back with the official measurement on a head and more than a guy or two will get into an argument calling BS by looking at a picture alone. IMHO, any bull close to or above 300" is a trophy for anyone to be real proud of and even more so if it's taken with a bow.

TG,

I am with you. I don't see any reason to argue about it. It is just fun to guess.

300 is a big bull. What is most important is how the hunter feels about their trophy.

As far as internet scores go, I agree you can't be sure based on photos alone, but it sure seems like there are a lot of 300 bulls and 180 mulies being killed out there!

I had to laugh when I read that last line. Lately I've seen some bulls and bucks these guys on some of the TV shows are taking and they start talking big inches when the animal wouldn't come close to what they're saying it will go!
