One thing that would help fix this country is unbiased media. If we would rely on accurate coverage nation wide most people would reconsider who they vote for. It's sad to me to think of the amount of people that have never heard of "fast & furious", Benghazi, IRS scandals....... So many publications, including "non-political" mags are full of liberalism and the uninformed fall for it every time and basically they come to the same conclusion every time, "Republicans are evil."

In my opinion Fox has plenty of liberal BS on it also. So as far as CNN and the others go I better not start. And I agree, only Obama and Biden can tell more lies than the Clintons

As far as the federal land closures, I think one good recourse to to inundate the boss of the Interior Department, Sally Jewell with e-mails. Tell her what you think about them/her closing public lands to american citizens.

Her e-mail is: [email protected]

She gets e-mails from me on a daily basis!

I keep thinking the country would be better off if both coasts fell off into the ocean. Nothing against anyone on here living there, but you are a minority. Move to the center and then let them fall off. The current direction of our nation is unsustainable by anyone's way of measuring.

I'm heading for Wyoming Friday, if they don't want me using MY federal land then they can arrest me. Our ancestors would have already been shooting!

Maybe the feds can issue a draw for welfare and food stamps. This could really lighten our load. Not sure what circumstances would justfy a preference points though. Maybe 1 point for every job inerview they had that month.

We are driving toward the cliff with the pedal on the floor board! At the very least we could let California and New England fall off.

I don't want to get too political. Nobody will ever change their mind anyways. However, I see the problem as this.............the extremes at both ends run the show. Same with the media. You have the extreme left and the extreme right. Repub vs Democr.........Lib vs. Cons..........and both sides get their "base" all fired up and hating the other side, and nothing useful ever gets accomplished. The vast majority of this country isn't right wing/left wing dem/repub. I think most people fall in the middle. I have some views that would be considered "liberal" and some "conservative" with the most being in between. If more people governed toward us in the middle and threw the crazies (left or right) out, we would all be better off. and that is all I have to say on this topic.

I was in the national forest all weekend with no issues. But I was also at a place that has no services, access was the same as always. Even had a state fish cop put his card in my door handle.
