I went up in the North Georgia Mtn. for 3 days and two nights to try my new pack and other gear. Had a great trip. Caught lots of little trout and just enjoyed the peace and quiet. It was just me and some locals hanging out.
This was one of the locals. Actually saw this guy at 35 yds.
My campsite.
One of the little fellows. I caught probably 25 of these guys on Sunday.
Kept 5 for breakfast. It was while cleaning these that I saw the bear. Thought he might want to share but he just kept going along.

Matt, way to get the Bee out there in Georgia! How'd the pack work for you. My hunting buddy just bought last years model 6000 ultra $205 on sale.

Got out on Sunday and caught some cutty's and bows. I was using my 10.5' 3wt on these guys which added to the fun, even a 12" fish bends that rod like a taco!

Had a fun trip to McConaughy- we caught several 100 and brought home 87 between 8 guys. Walleye were a little slow but the white bass were on fire.

I use an nice electric fillet knife... makes fast work out of a pile of fish. Looking forward to the fish fry! First Husker game we will all be too full to drink beer lol.

Matt, nice pics. I'm jealous! Especially since your there again. I hope that fly rod fits into that new pack! I can already taste those trout for breakfast lunch and dinner in September! I will bring the deeper south bee! The hell with mountain house! Pete, I think maybe he pulled out the Steve Avery and Terry Pendleton cards!

I have a Willie Mays, Johnny a Bench rookie, Juan Marichal and more, but they stay in the safe. What about the fly rod in the pack?

No, we play Oregon the 3rd game of the year. Will be a huge game for both programs. First game is against Fresno State- 7pm game so perfect time for a fish fry leading up to game time.
