I?m about 3 hours west of where you were. I don?t know if it would be worth the extra travel, sounds like you found plenty of birds.

Yes we were very satisfied. The only reason we may go to a different spot next year would be to hunt in a different terrain and get the experience. I think with the new laws for drawing in Colorado, a spring turkey hunt there next year will be on the calendar!

Congrats on your turkey!!! If you want to hunt CO. next year , we have several over the counter units for turkey. We do have a pretty good population here, but it can be hit or miss, depending on the weather, as we are still getting snow here in the valley.
