Is anyone going? To the hunt expo in slc this weekend or as my daughters say to hunter con 😂?

I have never gone to any hunting convention but the wife has never been to salt lake so we figured this was the year. Anyway thought we may say hello if folks we know are there.

That would be about right if the right two bidders went after it.

I believe that it has been on the plus side of 400k the last couple of years.

Yea what the deer tags went for 😳. It was not only the anteloper island tag..

The show is a good time I was able to talk w and meet most of the Eastmans crew as well as a bunch of other old friends, new friends, and mulie fanatics. Honestly I did not know this many hunters even existed..

My wife got fitted for sheep feet insoles, I could not pass up a deal on Hoffman pack boots, and that new outdoorsman’s tripod is pretty darn nice. The argali 4 man tent might well be my next tent. Have to say I did not know this much hunting gear existed either.

Anyway here are a few pics of the Mule deer that were displayed.

Figuring that the one who purchased it is a non resident he would of paid $1330 for a non resident Premium Multi Season deer tag.

Subtract that $1330 from $725,000 and you'll have a $723,670 federal tax deduction. If my accounting skills are correct.

Just so it doesn't confuse anyone, this person can hunt the entire state except for Antelope Island using any weapon of his choice.

I'm betting that he'll hire Mossback and head to the Henry Mountains.

He gets a $723,670 tax deduction IF he makes enough money to be able to deduct it! LOL
