They're popular, even after the recall. I really like the extended mags that are offered because it gives you a full grip, while the standard mags give the gun a smaller profile for carry. They come with a kydex holster and double mag carrier as well as two standard length mags. Nice setup.

Hoping for a good tax return. Wife has agreed to let me buy it. Just need to save up. I currently have the XDm 45 and love it. Need one to carry and this seems to fit the bill. Some day if will be able to afford Kimber or Colt but until then this will do.

Though not the lightest or smallest I carry a Glock 30sf .45acp. I have put over 2000 rounds through the 30sf and it still shoots like new. It is my favorite to shoot and deadly accurate. I have a Blackhawk holster for it.

I carry a Kahr .380 everyday. Just for fun, some days I tote my Kimber CDPII .45. My wife has a Sig .380.

I carry a Springfield Armory XD-40 sub-compact in an Alessi ankle holster every day. It's the best ankle holster I have ever had!! I asked for and he put a thumb snap on it just for a touch more retention. I'd hate to have it fall out on me. No charge for the little addition, and great quality.

When I wear shorts I carry in a Blackhawk CQC holster. Sits very nicely just behind my hip and is very comfortable.

Just took the Illinois course last weekend. There's a petty good backlog at the State Police processing applications, but by statute, they have 60 days, I think. Also bought a Sig SP2022, which has impressed me so far.

The first Illinois cc permits came out the week of march 2!
Is the Springfield xds 9 mm on the market now??
The XDS 9 and 45 are available. They aren't making a 40 yet.

I asked some Smith reps a few weeks ago if they were working on a 45 cal Shield....."No Comment" was the answer I got. That would be a nice piece.

I really REALLY wish FN would make a single stack version of the FNS. That would be my new EDC.

Well, I said I was going to have a Shield or a M&P 9c soon. Came home with an XDs 9 3.3 instead. Trigger is a little heavy, but it breaks clean and has a nice reset with no take up after. Can't wait to run some rounds through it next Monday.

Anyone know the Wyoming law regarding official contacts? In Nebraska, I have to disclose that I have a CC and if I am carrying or not immediately during any "official" contact. Since Wyoming doesn't have a CC law, does this apply there?
