Good deal, how many boxes of shells to did you go thru ! Enjoyed the pictures .

4 shells shy of a case of 410... those ringnecks in a 40mph wind can absorb some lead. Also had a few hours of pigeon shooting around a cotton gin and feed mill.

Man that is a blast- one of the few things I miss about living in Texas. Doves outnumber the mosquitos down there!

Looks like a great time! Where did you guys go? I got a brother-n-law that hunts Black Gap.

We stay in Sweetwater, but hunt the small towns around there to get mixes of white wings and Eurasians to make that 7hr drive worthwhile. This year we hunted around Robert Lee, Roby & Loraine.

That looks like a blast. We have a season in mn but not near the numbers of doves that you have down there.

aaaahhhhhh! Nothing like cotton and rattlesnakes to make a good dove hunt! I used to drive through sweetwater all the time going to and from college. Too bad the Walls outlet closed there! Good hunting around there. See any quail?

Yeah, Wall's used to be a happening place. I saw probably 10 small covey and 1 that had over 10 birds in it. Herd quite a few as well in the distance. Also saw a peacock roosted up with 4 jakes... want a locator call for gobblers that's a little different, try a peacock.
