The only time I have ever been shot- dove hunting in Texas. There are so many people out in the fields it gets a little scary. I do hunt them every year in Nebraska. They are a good warm up for the early teal season and like mentioned, pretty good to eat. It's a religion down here in TX. Opening day is a big, big deal. I love wingshooting and those doves are a real challenge.

This may be happening...Looks like a good time Scott! We hunt a feed lot here as well. The lot sits on about a 400 acre corn field that they cut for silage right before the season. It's usually good for a few, lol.
Unrelated... Will Wingmen be running the new Sitka waders this year?
