Drew a unit 2 bull tag in the random draw.

Looks like I also drew my 2nd choice elk tag. So points for everything and 2nd choice deer and elk.

So this year was my first to put in and I assume I did not get drawn because my CPW account says "Not Awarded". My unsuccessful option was a leftover tag. How does the leftover tag system work, will they send me one automatically if available or will there be a choice of some kind? Good news is I now have a point for Elk!

They will send you a list of available tags. I'm not sure if it will be a email or paper copy that you can then check out to see if there is a tag that you are interested in

Drew my 2nd choice for both elk (cow) and deer (doe).
So I got a couple more preference points and now I'll be looking for some meat for the freezer.
That's ok.

So everyone in the family drew second season buck tags. We usually draw split up so gonna be a little tight.
I also drew second choice 4th season bull.
Not sure how much time I'll have for that one.
So ended up with a point for all available draws this year

Got my deer tag for 2nd season and my points are gone. Time to start planning the scouting trip so I can actually see the places I've been looking at on maps before applying.

There are only a handful of tags that take that many points. So I don't attract too much attention next year, lets just say " a place with good bear".
