Yep, just checked, everything is updated. Don't know if I've drawn my ML Elk tag yet, as they have not added anything about elk other than the points part. A point was my 1st choice, E/S ML 2nd and cow M/L 3rd. Probably be next week before it shows what tag I drew, if any.

My 6 points are gone as well. I drew a 49 1st rifle bull tag. 7 long years of waiting. I can't believe it! I am excited about this year, I drew my elk and deer tag.

DANG... points went from 20 to 21 no colorado elk this year. But i still have a good shoot for elk in california with max points.
My god, 20 points and no tag! Thats painful. You must be putting in for a really good hunt to lose out with 20 points. I applied for points, for the first time, this year. Never been elk hunting in CO, but now im getting pretty excited about the thought of hunting elk in CO! Dont know if I can wait 20yrs though. I have max pts for CA as well, holding out for a bull tag.

Good luck on your draws, you really deserve that CO tag!

The only ones I know of that require that many point are 1, 10 & 201 in the NW corner and 851 near Trinidad. The are really tough to draw and have been that way for a long time. And there is a reason...lots of good bulls!!!

I will be hunting 201 this year with a muzzleloader, that is where all my points will be used. I will never ever point chase like this again. I can get into quality bulls with 2nd choice ( not 350 B&C, more like 300) and I will use my points about every 2 or 3 years on a muzzleloader hunt. Hopefully waiting 21 years has it rewards. I just got caught with almost enough points to draw a good unit and then the point creep took off. I can see why people get discouraged. There are in fact a lot less hunters these days but the hunters who do hunt tend to hunt evrything from varmits to exotics and everything inbetween. Makes tags really hard to come by. Not really one thing you can blame it on. I think we better just get used to the fact that hunting and drawing tags will get tougher and tougher.

BKC, good luck! That is a killer tag in a killer unit. Anyone that lives in Colorado wants to hunt there. Part of the reason I went ahead and used my points on 49 is the point creep. I refuse to wait 20 years to hunt anywhere. I was late enough getting into the race that it didn't make sense to try to catch up. I hope your persistence pays off.
