Clinton and her corrupt syndicate must not be allowed to win... 2nd Amendment

Guys and Gals... I'm probably preaching to the choir, but we ALL must vote and not allow Hillary Clinton to become the next president. She will immediately with executive powers attack our 2nd amendment rights and continue over time to take away our rights to own and bear arms. We all know this will have NO AFFECT on gun violence, because most gun crimes are committed by criminals who purchased their weapons illegally. See chicago!!! PLease make sure you vote to keep our way of life intact and safe for future generations. She is corrupt to the core, and is a fraud and is running a fake and corrupt campaign to influence naive people to take up anti gun ownership positions . VOTE out the crooks once and for all!!!

Please keep your political BS out of the forum. You're not going to sway anyone one way or the other.

I think it's good write up. Completely agree with it. Gr8bawan, If you don't like it, don't read it.
While I believe most of us share similar opinions here, the point is that political subjects detract from this forum. Any of us who desire to engage in political discussions have a gob of places to do so. I personally get on here to discuss hunting and the outdoors and to get away from all the BS that we are force fed throughout our regular day.

they don't and never have. I don't believe we need more wilderness, others believe we do. No one large group of people will agree on everything. Personally, the president of the unitied states, does not dictate how my life is spent or will be spent. But that is me.

Keep this thread civil fellas.

This is a hunting forum but most things are welcome as long as we all can keep our opinions respectful.

Thanks all

fixed it for you.

I DO AGREE THOUGH. HAVE MUCH MORE RESPECT for someone with the wrong opinion than I do for someone with no opinion

Yeah she is corrupt, yeah she is a liar, yeah she should be in prison ,yeah she shouldn't be able to run for president, hopefully people wake up, this country won't handle another Obama! Something has to change or we're in a lot more trouble than we are now. But like ya say not everyone has the same opinion and never will.

The biggest threat to sportsmen isn't Hilary's attack on the second amendment. In order to repeal the second amendment, it requires 2/3 of congress to make the proposal and 3/4 of states would have to approve it. Thats just not going to happen. The real threat is the republican mandate of privatizing federal lands. Basically the GOP wants to take OUR federal lands and sell them to their billionaire friends like the Koch and Wilks brothers. The ability to steal our federal lands is much easier to accomplish and repealing the 2nd amendment.

The 2nd amendment doesn't need to be amended to make it essentially null & void. It was only by a one vote margin that the Supreme Court upheld it as an "individual" right. Cities throughout the country are ignoring that ruling, and Hillary has publicly stated that "the Supreme Court got it wrong on the 2nd amendment". I agree with the general belief that this should remain a hunting forum, because we too easily piss folks off who have a different view. There are several on this forum who I strongly disagree with politically, but do respect their input, knowledge, and experience as hunters and gun owners. I strongly fear for the future of my country, and in my opinion, we are in for a dangerous future, no matter who is elected.

right at this moment ,I would say the biggest threat is a liberal supreme court and their interpretation of the 2nd

Yup.

In the current climate and under a new Clinton administration is easy to imagine the possibility of an out right ban on hunting on federal lands. I for one will never again expect even normal balance on the part of Congress much less interference on its part to quell federal over reach. Buckbull is mistaken thinking a repeal of the 2nd is required . In reality as kidoggy (and ricmic) points out one more USSC justice could swing a re-interpretation of the 2nd rendering it useless.
For decades ,as sportsmen, we have lived with a friendly giant and we have often taken his friendliness for granted, pushing out of our minds that our 'friend' is a giant indeed.

If you look at the wikileaks you can see the Clintons do not play by the rules, and always have everything set up in their favor. Installing anti-gun people at town hall meetings, paying people to incite violence at Trump Rallies, Billy meeting with the attorney general while his wife is being investigated, running a false campaign against Sanders when they already had the superdelegates to win the nomination, Linked to the FBI investigators, who cut immunity deals with her staff and destroyed the hardware (on what planet is that done?) These people do not fight fair, and most of their fights are WON before the first punch is thrown!!!! She wants our guns. If elected a national assault rifle ban will be enacted immediately by executive order. That will just be the beginning. If she is not stopped NOW, in 8 years you will not recognize the liberties you now hold dear. I do not own an assault rifle, but I understand once the bans start, they will continue to grow.

Hillary Clinton is not going to ban assault rifles by executive order. That's nonsense. Nobody seriously thinks that a president has that sort of power. President Obama has used the executive order more than most presidents. If he didn't do it after one of the mass shootings that happened during his presidency, there is no reason to believe that Clinton would. Obama is much more anti-second amendment than Clinton, and he hasn't been able to get anything done on that issue. By this point I think the second amendment is well engrained in our constitutional case law.

I think the biggest issue facing hunters is access to public land. They're not making anymore of it, and once it's gone, it's gone forever. Democrats are much more favorable on that issue. I live in South Texas and our public land situation is pitiful. Without public land, hunting will become a rich man's sport.
