Been thinking of doing a broadhead test for EBJ. I have a good list going right now of potential heads to test. What are some thoughts on heads you would like to see in the mix? Planning on testing both fixed and mechanicals.

Test some Rage mechanicals. As much as all the shows push them, I secretly hope they aren't any good. ;)

G5 Montec of course.

I'd like to know as well which would be good for elk and which might be better for deer/antelope. I've always heard that you need a cut on contact for something as big as an elk so a test showing if that's true would be nice.

I use the G5 Montec. I would like to see how they stack up against some of the other broadheads on the market. It seems to be a very durable piece of gear. One thing I have noticed is the noise they make flying through the air. They make a good deal more noise than other blade as they zip through the air.

I have also noticed that noise when shooting them, but I mic'd up a camera down range and couldn't tell much difference when compared to field points while being on the "receiving" end.

Testing of the these Broadheads would be nice.

1. Rage 125 grain
2. Steelforce Phathead 100 and 125 grain
3. Steelforce Phathead Featherdusters 125 grain(These were known as the Phathead Talon prior to 2011)

Thanks

I recently switched from a Rage 3-blade to the Meat Seekers based on a recommendation. I'd like to see how they perform if you do a test on mechanicals.

Some Grim Reapers would be great to see in the test. I have never personally tried them but heard good things and would be interested in seeing how they perform/compare to fixed and other mechanicals.
