Thought id share this info as I started using this guy this past year. He makes the best custom arrows I've ever seen! His name is jerry and his shops in Florida. Whether its a bow or xbow hes the man!
I shoot black eagle spinal tapps.
Weight matched and balanced with firenocks. Think they're $200 dozen plus lighted knocks of choice.
I shoot xbow at 100 yards doing 1&half inch groups! Trust me this guy is incredible!

Grant, I live 30 minutes from this address, I have never heard if him. Is he new? Is it a shop that I could go check out?

I've never been to his shop before man. Hes open all the time though. I'd say hes been in business 3+ years at least not sure. Give jerry a call tell him I sent you. Hes retired engineer started as a hobby but hes got employees now! I've been on phone from ks at 10pm at night with him fixing bow! Hes super guy!! I've shot lots of arrows and this guys without a doubt best I've ever seen building them.

What a bargain!
Lighted nocks are high for a crossbow. I normally buy a 3 pack at a time $75
Its kinda like long range guns you pay for what you get. Vertical bow is lot cheaper $30 for 3 pack lumenocks.

Fool for buying quality equipment, like everyone else on here? Maybe I'm taking you the wrong way?

I think you'd be hard pressed to find many archers who would pay that amount of money ($200 a dozen) for "matched arrows"........I've built my own for over 35 years........spined and grain matched to within 1-3 grains......some dipped/crested.....for almost half that price. Not saying he doesn't build quality arrows, he probably does, just pointing out most mainstream archers along with bowhunters who build their own arrows would generally not pay that price. Just an opinion from someone who's been in the business a long time.

I respect your opinion just thought it'd help others. Note these are crossbow arrows a lot higher price. Vertical bow is cheaper.
440fps takes quality arrow not to break or crack limbs.
Search around and find an arrow with reviews shooting a 100 yard inch half groups. The prices and quality are Lil different you'll find.

I understand you're trying to help other on here......which is much appreciated. However, crossbow bolts should not cost that much more to build, as they use the same materials believe it or not (with exception to the nock sometimes). The company builds nice bolts, which could definitely help someone who's looking for them. Just pointing out the fact that the cost is higher than most will pay. Although the power of advertising can sometimes cloud our better judgement......I've fallen for that many times over the years. It's what makes it fun! :)

It's all a matter of prospective. Those $550 arrows are no different than the $95 camo t-shirts and the $125 camo pants some guys think they must have. Millions of animals have been taken with cheap bows and arrows and the same can be said of the cheap $5 walmart camo t-shirts.
It's just a matter of what you think is necessary for you to be successful.

I Agee, some people stick thousands of dollars into there rifles. Some into bows some into clothing. Just a preference.
