The owner of Jimmy John's shot this bull this week in AZ. He bought a Governor's tag. Supposedly it scores 470". I'm sure he shot it with a rifle.

Denny Austad from Idaho has made it a habit of buying Governors tags in Utah for both elk and mule deer. He has hunted mule deer on Antelope Island a couple of times and he is the one who shot the spider bull.

Even if I was a millionaire I still wouldn't buy one. I wouldn't feel right about it.

Now, if I was a billionare....that might be another story. I could wipe my conscience clean with my money! lol

I'd say that the elk tags go for $300k+. Some deer tags will also go in that range

I heard he got it for $225k. You are correct most of the money goes to conservation.
