DR...the secret is out already...LOL Huntin Fool has advised their 15,000 members to put in for a, b and c trying to draw a handful of non-resident tags.
LOL, although yeah it was a "little to much info" those areas are fairly already known...but I won't make any excuses lol I dropped the ball on this one...everybody fumbles from time to time lol....can't say I'll make a habit of it tho.

Well I have a fix for that, we all go back to our posts and edit them before the word gets out. Please see that I changed mine to Units A, B and C.....lol

You guys aren't talking about area 23 are you? Anyone that is lucky enough to get a tag for that unit knows to hunt in the spring valley north of eagle valley. That's well known, it's just difficult to draw tag there. I always put that unit as first choice but have never drawn it.

Southern areas are my $hi!. There is some nasty rocky sheep spots that hold some insanely large bucks. State records back in the day. No one hunts em. Few people know they exist. Very very few. Unless youve got mules or a couple days to get to them and a whole bunch of bonus points there just gonna keep growing. Im at the point where I will focus on close areas of cali and arizona for freezer fillers. But I made a promise to myself no more hunting nv yearly for deer. Build points and pull a buck out of somewhere that will shock some folks. :) there smart in these desolate areas. I will get them on trail cam one morning and then a lion on the same cam that afternoon. If they can grow big around predators they can definitely outsmart most hunters.

Dang! I logged on a little to late it looks like. Oh well, I wouldn't expect a premier unit as a non-res with zero points next year anyway. You guys seem to have a good handle on where the big bucks hang out in Nevada. Hopefully I will have a chance to hunt a good unit someday too.

Wow ya I haven't been on in a day and Dr UH and BS took over this thread! Hahahha so here is my two cents on mine and BS's conversation. All of these areas are good but they are BIG country. A guy would still have to scout and find the big bucks they won't just be popping out all over the place and jump in the back of you pick up for the ride home! Bahahahhahah!!!! Good talk guys!

Oh ya and you guys are making want to edit my post on UH's thread about my spot I just stumbled on. I gave some very descriptive points on location.

Hey kid what's been goin on? Been wondering where you were.

Wade got in some nice bucks but the Elk and Pronghorn have been freakin unbelievable this year! 2 over 400" bulls. A 430" bull dead head too!
