Looks like number 8 in the draw is being celebrated by the activists. Tom Mangelson, a photographer from Jackson is claimed to be number 8 according to their Facebook page. Doesn't look like any of the other tags went to their specific group. https://www.facebook.com/groups/DontDelistGrizzlies/?ref=group_header
At least they can't complain that it was rigged against them.. they wrote letters to game and fish trying to say they needed to be there for the drawing for full transparency. . It's unfortunate of all people it was him...i cant stand his absolute bs he spews in the papers all the time

I kind of hope it gets to him. It's a Win/Win for all of us and G&F. He will have to pay his 600 bucks and won't shoot one and 10 days later someone else will get the chance to shoot one! Free 600 for G&F!

Wyoming should add the number system to all the draws. Keep the current system in place, but add in where you were in line.. Like - you drew unit xx, you were the second tag of 10, or whatever.. You were number 499, out of 500 applications.

I'd just like them to twist the knife in me a little more, when I don't draw.

That just gives #11 and #12 a chance at a hunt, as long as a sow isn’t killed too soon....which I would bet accidentally happens.

This sort of thing has been seen in the east before, with non or antis showing up to daily waterfowl draw locations to draw a daily hunt unit just to let birds rest on it. There are arguments to be made for and against it... the ironic thing is that virtually none of the people who participated in this activity purchased a federal duck stamp.
