This isn't California. If they started harassing families here, it wouldn't fly for a lot of reasons.
Personally I want to wait till year 2, or 3 before I apply for a tag, and possibly draw (likely will never draw).
My reasoning is that anything new generally has flaws to work out. If for some reason it get drug back into court, and put on hold, I don't want to be sitting on a once in a lifetime tag that I can't hunt with. There is always a chance an year it could end up in court, but hopefully after a few years that chance goes down drastically.
Just for conversation, if I ever draw, and am lucky enough to tag a grizzly, I'll take every ounce of meat.
