We found one side of a 220 Palmated mule deer and hunted the other one. We walked down hill about one quarter mile then decided to go back and find the other side. We did find the other one and both had landed in a shade so they are not bleached. I can draw a tag for the unit so as my friend says Gorman is going to hunt him until one of them is dead. This will have to be a backpack hunt at age 72. My plan is 3rd season rifle.
Am I losing my mind?

Gorman, I think you can do it! However, I'm wondering how many points are you going to need to draw that tag? How about showing us a picture of that huge shed?

You could paddle a boat with those! I will hunt until I die! That's what keeps you young & going! My uncle is 75 still climbs tree stands & shoots whitetails with his bow. I stopped by his house the other day & he cut a rick of wood that morning. He was splitting it with a maul. I made him let me finish it! Good luck, start patterning him & get him!

If those are mule deer, then they are weird, they look perfectly normal for a young bull moose. I vote moose.
