2020 Fishing

Took my girls out for the trout opener in Nor Cal. We were able to score on three nice Brooks. The first one broke me off. Let the girls real in the last two.

Those are great brook trout!

Company has a job in Glacier NP this summer, so I get spend sometime around there. Any good spots to check out for fishing?

Took the while gang fishing . 9 kids 9 and younger and 6 adults lots of tree climbing ,swimming, and fun had.
Every kid caught at least 1 fish except the son in law lol

It looks like the US/Canada border crossing may be shut down for another month. If so, my second fishing trip will be cancelled or rescheduled. Haven't seen anything definative yet.

Ended up with 58. Probably threw back 25 that were just a little too small.

Shot a pile of carp and gar as well on Saturday morning into the afternoon before the wind picked up.

I'm glad you guys did better than me. I caught about 30 keep size bluegills on Saturday. Storm moved in quick so I got in a hurry and ended up falling out of the boat. Ruined my cell phone and broke a lens in my Costa Del Mar sunglasses. First time in my 47 years that I have ever fallen out of a boat. Of course the neighbor was mowing his grass and saw the whole thing. He laughed his ass off.

Reminds me of one time I fell out of a canoe while bowfishing and got back in and looked around to make sure somebody didn't see me. I was in the middle of nowhere.... Then I heard a voice from the bank. It was a black guy fishing under a limb in the shadows and I didn't see him and he said "Don't worry I wont tell anyone.." we both had a good laugh. He then said "you the same guy that pissed right in front of me last weekend while shooting fish?" I said, "no, it must have been my brother... " (I dont have a brother...) "Well you guys must be twins and you both have the same colored bow!"

We then both burst out laughing!

I guess it’s hard to say right now but I’ll be pulling for you. I hope you get to do your bear hunt. I did one (in WY) last spring and it was a lot of fun.

I hope so also but I suspect there will be a drastic increase of virus cases just prior to the elections.nothing guides sheep like fear.

Went out for 3 hours this afternoon got lots of strikes but just wasnt hooking them. I did end up with this guy toward the end of my day the only one I got. Just 1.5 inches short of being a keeper.

got out for a few hours of trolling yesterday morning and caught half dozen or so browns in the 14 -18 inch range. was using brooktrout and brown trout, rapala coundowns

We got our limit (2 each) of Red Snapper.

We also picked up one Mahi Mahi (While trolling top-water lures at 30MPH...)
