What a stud ram! Congratulations. You have lived and breathed my dream hunt, was it everything you thought it would be?
Honestly, it was probably the most stressful hunt I've ever had. The hiking, scouting, and then once I found him, just hoping he would stay put. There were fires in the area, lions and bears in the neighborhood. You know, everything was a potential problem and just another thing that could push him out of the area.

Overall, one of the greatest hunts I've ever been a part of.

I'm sure it was stressful because there are no second chances with tags like those and even fewer on an animal of that caliber. I imagine the sense of accomplishment, relief, and the realization of a dream fulfilled would create quite a swirl of emotions after the shot.

Did you get an age on him? Sorry for all the questions, but I'm poor and must live vicariously through you guys who draw the sheep tags. At least until I finally beat the odds and draw one myself!

CPW aged him at 12+ with 11 growth rings. It got hard to tell what was what as you got closer to the base of his horns. An old guy for sure.
