I think EBO is right and point creep is a simple fact with every State that has a pref. point system. The legislative stuff is probably not as big this year compared to when it passes but once that happens the NR, DIY people, will be looking at a far greater wait! Limited tags + # of hunters that want a great tag = point creep.

My brother and I got off the fence with Max Elk points... It's the first state we are cashing them in. Almost feels strange to burn them after collecting for so long! Looking forward to the results!

How has the winter been in western Wyoming? Expecting to draw general tag with my father for unit 102.

I'd say that the snow pack this year is dismal, we haven't got any snow this year. I've been helping friends with late cow tags in these units (102, 103 and 104). Water might be a little scarce this fall if we don't get some more heavy wet snow.

That's what it has seemed like to me when I have caught the weather for there, which hasn't been very much. Sounds like it has been very mild so far. Hopefully the rest of the winter will produce some moisture.
