I drew Metolius Muzzy Deer. It should be a good hunt this fall. My stinkin' brother drew Mt Emily #2 with zero points! I'm going to have to help a brother out!!!! With Wyoming elk for me and Mt Emily elk for him there's going to be some fun hunts this fall!

WOW, Mt Emily with zero pts...... make sure he takes good notes cause I might ask for them in 13 or 14 years (plus and annual point creep). Congrats on the tags timber should be a great season!!!!

It's crazy, I called him 2 days before the deadline and asked him what he was going to do. He said he was just going to buy a points, I said put in for 254Y1 for elk. He said what's that? I said don't worry about it, just do what I say. If you draw I will help you out. He still doesn't know he drew the tag!

My wife drew Pole Creek muzzleloader elk on the east side in the random draw.

I drew a second choice Roosevelt tag and a second choice blacktail doe tag.

My 13 year old daughter drew the Umpqua rifle deer tag and we have private for her to hunt for a Columbia Whitetail. She also drew a pretty premium cow elk tag in the Tioga unit and a doe tag second choice.

My nephew drew Hart Mountain rifle antelope in the random draw (like 0.35% draw odds).

This is the second year I have put in with my cousin and his party and we drew as second choice the Ukiah spike only tag with only 1 point is that pretty normal? I figure you all would know. Needless to say I will be going to Colorado instead for there 2nd rifle season.

They don't use points for 2nd choices. You drew "randomly" from within all 2nd choice apps for that hunt code. Looks like you had about a 50/50 chance at it.

Unfortunately I will be bugling for bulls in Colorado on the same dates he will be bugling for antelope in Eastern Oregon.

I remember reading that story, I had told him about the private access option and he sounded interested. So, that would be great to get any info your willing to share UH. I've only canoed it during deer season. It was awesome, with well over 100 sheep seen, but the problem with that is once you pass them and move down river, you can't go back unless you re-float the whole thing. Many years ago I sold wood to Mr.Martin. I think he allows access for a fee, but not sure.
