2014 nd antelope

I just found out today that I was one of 250 lucky people that gets to hunt antelope in ND this year. First time there has been a season since 2009. Should be some big old boys running around out there. Can't wait for opening day.

Lucky duck....I got the "denied" email a few hours ago. No deer, no antelope...I suppose I will apply for turkey just to get all my bad luck out in one year. I'm sure there will be some big ol' goats running around. They should be a lot more tame than normal too.

That's great. I was south of straight south of medora in late July and saw a couple of dandy Bucks good luck.

Well I ran all over the unit for a couple days before the season opened and saw surprisingly quite a few bucks. Mostly mediocre bucks though. I did find a few a nice ones. I was able to get setup on this buck at the open of the season today and I shot him about two minutes in. Overall very happy with him. He's right at 14 inches, pretty good mass above the cutters, kinda dinky cutters and average bases.
