Here are a few pictures of the bull I took this last season. It was a tough hunt as I think we got more snow and cold in September than we have had all this winter. I passed on a pile of small bulls and even a couple of 350 type bulls and was preparing for the five year wait before the elk gods smiled down on me on day 13. Glad I held out and stuck to my goal as it finally paid off.

Great bull! What units are you looking into? What weapon choice? I think you could draw your first choice if you go archery. Ps that bulls vitals must have just flowed right out when you opened him up!

Awesome bull! It would have been hard for me to pass up a 350 for sure, but it looks like it worked out just fine! Congratulations on one heck of a bull.

Holy Smokes! (no pun intended) That bull is awesome. Way to hold out for your goal, I have a hard time with that sometimes! Wow that is a nice looking bull!

Ya, The first shot had a good line just a touch high. Rangefinder fell out of the case while stalking him so had to guess like the old days. He went down but had to get a couple more in him so he would go to sleep. Definitely got a little western for a few minutes. I quartered him and cut his backbone to get the loins otherwise I bet he would have done a self cleaning.

Good looking bull! I'm curious on your smoke pole setup... Gun, powder, bullet???
I shoot a T/C Triumph Bone Collector. 150 gr Pyrodex 3 pellets. 300 grain Precision Rifle Dead Center Sabot. Winchester 209 muzzle primer. Open sights.20130912_110213.jpg

Not a traditional setup although that is next on the list as I would like to hunt other states that dont allow inlines. The above picture is from this setup open sights. The high shots are from 50-150 yards. The low left is 200 and there are two below that with about the same group from 300. I would never shoot at a animal that far but fun to play.

What an incredible bull Crit'r Git'r. If you are getting a score of around 380 you ought to get it officially scored and do it soon. a 375 net bull will go B&C and that is an amazing accomplishment.
