    Wyoming antelope areas

Do you seriously think non resident doe tags are the smoking gun? Seriously

    Wyoming antelope areas

If I had 16 points I would honestly wait another 1-2 years. You can have a good hunt this year in the premium areas but it isn't what it once was since they haven't recovered fully from the bad winter a few years ago. In 1-2 years, with a little luck, those areas will be quite a bit better.

Colorado's new 6.5% tax on guns, ammo & gun related parts.

It doesn't surprise me it's happening in Colorado. That state needs some serious leadership help. Not sure what I would do as a resident but I wouldn't stand by. Need to fight against BS like this.

    Winchester XPR

Ammo has been easy for me to find but you won't see it on every Walmart shelf. Good luck to you guys. Shopping can be fun but a little stressful trying to make good decisions.

    Winchester XPR

Have you compared to a 6.5PRC? I was a hold out regarding all the new stuff for a long time but Hornady really has a winner with this one imo. Much kinder on the shoulder but same or better killing range depending on bullet selection. I bring this up because there are several manufacturers...

They are always proportionate since nonresident get a % of overall tags. It impacts both

    Danner's Pronghorn Boots

Very comfortable boots. I still wear them for some hunting. If you condition then occasionally, they last a few years of regular hiking.

WY SF0002 Bill Bonus Point System Proposal

It's great for people with little to no points. It's terrible for guys like me who would eventually draw because of my point total. The weighted bonus point system is a sham. Your odds of drawing go down exponentially yearly due to the number of new applicants that will jump in yearly.

    Guided Bear Hunt Experiences?

Still researching a bear hunt if I could get details. The waterfowl combo has me intrigued. Thanks!

Right and wrong answers both ways. Personally, I would save points for a year or two.

    12 pp wyoming

I would either find a friend to hunt a general area or plan to sit back and wait a few more years. 12 points doesn't get you much these days imo.

DIY Mule Deer? bunch of points in every state...

It's sad but the reality is, people need to make the most of any tag they draw because it may be a decade or 2 or 3 before you get it again. Enjoy those hunts like they are your last. Interest in western hunting is increasing exponentially and money appears to not be a factor.

DIY Mule Deer? bunch of points in every state...

Decent is a matter of opinion and how many points it takes increases yearly. Am area that takes 5 points this year may take 5.5 or 6, or maybe even more next year. No way to predict how many will apply. The premium areas that most consider really good will basically be once in a lifetime...

    Folding Rifle Stocks

Have a buddy that feels strongly about this... his answer is Seekins but i believe that is due to past issues with Bergara. I don't have experience with either.
