Leupold scopes on both rifles are the originals I bought in 1980 and 1983. They both work as good as the day they were bought. VX-II and VX-III I wouldn't have any other scopes. I have never seen the need to change what works.

Actually with all the rain and snow last winter we have an abundance of rabbits this year. I have counted as many as 14 cottontails eating holes in my lawn this year. I have seen the coyotes give chase to the rabbits but only for a few yards. I guess those pets are much easier to catch.

For me it would be chukars. The nasty country the inhabit makes it very rewarding when you finally down one. Plus they are substantial in size so there a very tasty meal at the end of the day. Hunting them is frustating and rewarding at the same time.
