Congrats … really great bucks!

Congrats !!

He's wearing Orange now so he's safe from being shot ;)

Interesting ... I've never tried to sharpen one.

Yeah, it seems like those knives stay sharp forever (even without changing the blade) !

All great bucks … congrats to you and your wife!

I grew up in PA … those look like great bucks to me (y)

Best of luck !!

Wahoo!! Congrats!! Looks like a great hunt with your son (y)

That's what I've always done with my old 30-06 … and it works just fine. Now I'm getting used to my new ballistic turret and I like it too. Either way can work, but I think the turret will allow me to ethically shoot a little further if I choose to.

Thanks CC. That all makes sense. I don't have a ballistic turret on my Leupold on my Winchester pre-64 Model 70 that I've had for years and years. But I did put a ballistic turret on my new .28 Nosler that I had built last year. I'm still getting used to it and I really like it.

I have a Leupold VXlll 4x14 that works great … but I don't have a ballistic turret.

Great story Mcseal … congrats !!

Very sorry for your loss. My Dad also taught me how to hunt and shoot at a very early age. He passed away in 2001, much too soon, but now he accompanies me every time I go on a hunt. I can hear his voice talking me through each shot I take. I'm sure you Dad you still be with you too.

Great pic AK !!

Great buck Seal !!

It's a small dry creek bed … you probably have some of those in Arizona! ;) (y) Although that one looked like it probably has water in the Springtime when the snow's melting off.

I've been a member for a long time now...

Good luck !! What season is your tag for?

Great buck ... congrats !!
