I've been using Lathrop & Sons Mtn. Hunter Elite boots since they first came out with them a couple of years ago. I like them but they have a fairly stiff sole and they are a little heavy.

4 mile hike this morning with the pups. Very steep up and back down, but only 7,500’ elevation. Good workout.
