    Fed checks arrived on time

Now that our Alaska trip this summer has been cancelled, my wife and I decided to take a big chunk of the money we received and donate it to someplace that has been really effected by Copid-19. One of our local churches has started a Copid-19 Fund to help the Navaho Reservation. Wrote them a...

    Alaska 2019

Sad deal....just cancelled our trip to Alaska this summer because of this covid-19 crap. The couple going with us are really leary about it because the guy (I've know him for 50 years) has a kidney replacement and he has to really be careful because of the anti rejection drugs he takes. My wife...

    30-30 WIN iron sight adjustment

Early on the full down position (pre trigger lock) could result in the gun firing if it was dropped and hit directly on the hammer. That's why they have the intermediate position.....like Jim said "for what it is".

    Upgrading the Reloading Bench

Many years ago I was in Saudi when they bought F-5 from us. Spent a month or so training their maintenance folks. Absolutely hated it there. My company wanted me to stay for a year (would have been great financially), but I just couldn't see bringing my family there.

    Upgrading the Reloading Bench

I havn't annealed in many years. I used to make a lot of brass when I was shooting several wildcat cartridges. I made 25-06 out of .270 & 30-06 brass and 22-250 out of 243 and 250 Savage. Now my "wildcats" are factory stuff, I don't reconfigure brass. Used to get a lot of neck splits because of...

Shooting in the rain and wet optics

I used to have a set of the spring loader flip up caps, but the springs kept sticking at inopertune times, so I got rid of them. Like JimP, I just deal with it.

    30-30 WIN iron sight adjustment

Asking a question like you did here on Eastman's, there are enough good people here that can give someone some good information....or at least where to find it. Good forum to be on for sure!

    30-30 WIN iron sight adjustment

The tighter the better. If you want to get more capability out of it, you can change the rear sight easily. It is dovetailed in and you can get a new one that has micrometer type adjustments. Look in Brownells or other supplier and you should be able to get one pretty reasonable. Just checked...

    30-30 WIN iron sight adjustment

What type of sight is the rear. Are there lines on the side of it or does it have a blade parallel to the barrel, on the bottom of the sight?

    Canada Gun Ban!

This is your choice, but I believe that your statement "every single station on the planet would love to see this nation crumble and fall" is just plain wrong. I have visited a lot of different countries, both for work and pleasure, and did not see this view common. Leaving politics out of it, I...
