In Oregon, where I live, and in several other states, you can only hunt with open sites on a muzzleloader. I've worked with fiber optics and with peep sites. Does anyone have any good info on the very best open sites for a muzzleloader?

Here are a couple southern Oregon blacktails we got trail cam pics of. I have cropped the pics so you can see these bucks better.

The good news is I just checked the draw results for elk in Colorado and they are posted on the CDOW website. The bad news is I still did not draw with 19 points. I thought I had a tag clinched. Well maybe next year.
