I drew a cow tag . It was my 3rd choice!!! So I got a tag and a point too. Hope I didn't use all my luck today and have some left for antelope.

Usually they do elk today and antelope tomorrow. Usually takes 3 to 4 days to get thru all of them.

Whenever I do a replacement trigger, I use a Timney. I have several on rifles and shotguns too. I knew Allen Timney, met him at a trap shoot in California over 50 years ago. Great guy and a good product.

My wife and I spent over 20 years looking for the perfect (or near perfect!) place to retire. We bought land in SW Colorado in 1995 and retired here in 2000. Things were very different politically back then. Doubt if we would make the same choice today. We are just too damn old now to pick up...

Same situation with me. I hunted with my Dad until he was 90 when he got his last elk. He has been gone for 12 years now. I am the oldest of the family now ( I am 83) and see less of the family hunting these days.
