I put a jewell trigger in mine long ago and it's flawless.
That said I've put timney triggers in other rifles and likely what I'll continue using in the future.
Works great at a better price.

Currently liking the Trigger Tech I put in a rifle. Real easy to install and adjust. A good gunsmith can setup the factory trigger just as good as any replacement and it’s usually cheaper.

What replacement trigger do you recommend or use for a Remington 700 rifle, Timney. Trigger Tech or other? Thx
just put the Timney hunter elite in my 700. I had it set to 2.5 and I like it. Taking it to the range in a coup,e weeks.

Whenever I do a replacement trigger, I use a Timney. I have several on rifles and shotguns too. I knew Allen Timney, met him at a trap shoot in California over 50 years ago. Great guy and a good product.

I can’t speak to the other brands but have a Timney Calvin Elite in a target rifle and a regular Timney in a Model 7. Both have been good.

I swapped mine out after some creep issues and ended up liking the Rare breed Trigger setup a lot more than I expected. Clean break, solid feel, and install was smoother than I thought it’d be. I’ve run about 300 rounds through it so far without a hiccup. If you’re picky about pull weight and consistency, it’s worth checking out.
