That's just awful.

Its been incredibly hot and humid here as well. I would prefer to get my exercise in outside but decided to hit the elliptical yesterday; the humidity is just brutal right now.

Father-in-law and I were replacing a patio door on the sunroom. 1 day job turned into a 1 month job really quick. Finally have it finished so I can turn my attention back to the cabin build.

The guys I antelope hunted with did the same thing with the plastic chair and shower tent. Makes me chuckle thinking about it because they strap the chair to the rear end of a suburban for the drive from missouri.

I enjoy fishing as most here do. It seems I have little time anymore with kids sports being a major time sink. Been extremely busy with the cabin build and doing a lot of house repairs recently. I'd like to get into trapping again, perhaps when the kids go away to college or when I retire.

We used to have more timber rattlesnakes than we do now. I did buy a pair of the snake proof chaps, but never put them to a test on a snake. They do work well if you need to work your way thru multiflora rose or thick brush rabbit hunting.

You could do a word burning picture into the paddle. When i was a kid you could buy templates that you could rub onto the wood and then just burn where the lines were at.
