I’m doing a 5 mile hike this morning with 2 dogs. Leaving the puppy and 1 old dog at home. Gonna be a medium pack cause I’ll be carrying water for the dogs.

I agree Jim. 220 grain Noslers will take care of a 30-06 being a “little light” for Brown Bear and make it quite serviceable. If you’re willing to load up like that a 30-06 will take care of anything in North America if you really want to consolidate your calibers. But it sure is fun having...

^^ Thanks Hilltop. Great info!! Most of us inherently know what Wyoming is proposing is wrong, but those quotes make it very clear. Unfortunately, they'll probably do it anyway. Selfishness and greed are powerful emotions and tough to overcome.

Good point. Sadly, many folks seem to be ok with any model/plan so long is it gives them more, more, more … no matter what the negative affects are to others.
