    House Bill 295

Jim mentioned about birds. It is against federal law to bait any migratory bird. Many years ago my Dad's duck club had a feeding permit for waterfowl. But the feds stopped it back in the late 70's or 80's. I know lots of friends that hunt doves near recently harvested grain fields, which is...

    gun regs yay or nay???

I have been without my computer until Tuesday and have not been able access any of the recent posts. Answering the questions is a bit tedious. I do agree with most, but not all. I agree 100% with Jim's post. My basic views on firearms controls and restrictions have been based on 65 years of...

When Did You Kill Your First Elk?

I was born and raised in California and lived there until I retired in 2000. I hunted almost exclusively deer and antelope and a couple of trips to British Columbia for moose. I started hunting elk when I moved to Colorado in 2000. I killed my first one (a cow) in 2002 at age 61. I still am...

30-06 and 180 gr bullet load suggestions

As mentioned...2800 is probably not where you are gonna get too. I do like the 165 gr bullet better and I don't think you will notice any difference in performance....dead is dead! I like 4895 in my 30-06. It performs really well., but every gun is different. Good luck.............

    Who taught you to hunt?

Posting a little late as my computer has been in the shop for a tune up. My Dad, Grandfather and their friends taught me the basics. I hunted and fished with Gramps until he was 87 when he passed and my Dad until he was 92 when he got dementia and I couldn't trust him with a gun. I took Dad elk...

How many of you will get the Covid shot?

My wife and I got our second shot yesterday. Side effects are supposed to be more than the first time. Last night I was really tired and didn't sleep too well and felt tired when I got up. After a couple of cups of coffee and a light breakfast, feel fine now. Arm is a little sore.

    Gun Registration Bill HR 127

I know Scot Tipton (our former congressman) and what I don't understand is how he could let Boebert beat him in the primary. He was the incumbent and had more money, just doesn't make sense. If he didn't want to run again, he should have just retired, because he sure didn't campaign very hard in...

    Super Bowl Flyover

After I left the B-2 Program, I went back to the F-18 Program. I set up the assembly line for the new E/F Super Hornet. The Blue Angels are in El Centro practicing with their new Super Hornets getting ready for this season.
