Just make sure that anyone who plans to hunt with you buys points also, as your points are averaged if you apply together as a party. Even just one or two points gives you more options when you do apply for tags, as many of the easy to draw with 0 points areas have access issues.

Spend 9 days up on the mountain in WY this fall, and passed on a 4x4 for the first time as I was holding out for one bigger than those pictured below. Didn't happen. Still had a great time and will keep on trying.

Enjoy your 10 days up north Marcus. I wouldn't lament too much about the missed bear hunt, sometimes a change of direction leads to something even more rewarding. Don't eat too much fried fish or drink too much beer and you'll come back home in fine shape.
