I can see the lawsuits already. With the relatives of the person driving the truck saying that he was a good person and that the cop shouldn't of tried to wreck him at that speed, but should of backed off and arrested him later
I haven't been on a bear hunt but I have been on plenty of deer and elk hunts out there and just about every time out there I have seen bears. I have always seen bear sign when I didn't see the bear. One of the biggest black bears that I have ever seen I saw out there but that was back in 95...
I'm not sure if it is part of this bill or not but they want sheep and possibly other hunts to be one tag and you are done.
From what I read if you draw a sheep tag now and don't shoot a sheep you can reapply, they want to change it to just one tag in a lifetime, which it should be.
A lot of that would benefit the hand loader but in factory rounds you will never find that 174 grain bullet in a WSM or a standard 270.
But time will tell if this round stays or goes the way of the dodo bird. It appears that Browning and Winchester are putting their money on it. Even if...
As I have mentioned before I believe that I have seen some of the best hunting out here in the west that there ever will be.
And as I get older I am starting to see some of the worst policies for hunting out here in the west.
In one case I am glad that I am on the downhill side of my...

Yes you could change out the barrel in either one and shoot longer and heaver bullets but then that would cut down the weight of bullet...
A nice thing about Arizona is that if you archery hunt you can draw a javelina tag and hunt quail at the same time in January, you then have the hunting license to put in for the draws. I've been doing that for 27 years now but instead of archery hunting javelina I will do the HAM's hunt...
Wyoming is no different than any other state out there where there are hunters who what to hunt what Wyoming offers. At least now for the time being they don't require you to purchase a hunting license to put in for the draw.
The bigger problem is that when you only have so many tags that...
While it isn't New Mexico here in Colorado mule deer are mostly bald headed in March.
Elk on the other hand wait a while. I have seen bulls still packing the last years headgear in May and I have also seen bulls with a lot of new growth in May so it is a toss up.
I'm not sure about New...
