If you get one get the 18 inch or so one. With a longer cut it makes cutting a lot easier than the shorter saw does, I do have both.
But I've started just popping the joint out of the socket, if you do it right you won't loose any meat and you can bone out the rest.

I was thinking that if I would of waited to cash in my points for a Unit 10 muzzle loader elk tag I would still be behind in points since I would of only had 24 or so since I cashed in my 17 back in 2014.
Just remember that the pack out is one piece at a time and you take the best parts out on the first trip just encase you don't get back or something happens to the meat.
Trying to find a hunting partner on the WWW would be about like finding a good wife with the same process.
I cherish the hunting partners that I have had in my lifetime and sadly I am down to just a couple of them left. I'm also finding that the older that I get the more solo hunts that I go...
