I’ve had the best luck with the uninsulated Crispi Guides. They may not be warm enough for tree stands in the colder weather though.

He won’t have a guaranteed chance. Depending on what spot in the line he is will depend on if he gets a chance at a tag. If he can guarantee that he will be first in line at an F&G office or vendor that he has very good chance at getting a tag, but otherwise it’s not.

Sportsman’s shows are a good way to check out different packs. I’m unfamiliar with which ones would be close to you, but you can usually see what vendors are you going to be there.

Supposedly iPhone has it going at the moment. I don’t know because my phone isn’t one of the new ones that are able to have it.
