    30-30 WIN iron sight adjustment

Asking a question like you did here on Eastman's, there are enough good people here that can give someone some good information....or at least where to find it. Good forum to be on for sure!

    30-30 WIN iron sight adjustment

The tighter the better. If you want to get more capability out of it, you can change the rear sight easily. It is dovetailed in and you can get a new one that has micrometer type adjustments. Look in Brownells or other supplier and you should be able to get one pretty reasonable. Just checked...

    30-30 WIN iron sight adjustment

What type of sight is the rear. Are there lines on the side of it or does it have a blade parallel to the barrel, on the bottom of the sight?

    Happy Mothers Day!

Bob, Joyce & I are very sorry to hear about your Mother. I lost my Mom in 2004 and still miss her. You all are in our prayers. Take care my friend.

    Canada Gun Ban!

This is your choice, but I believe that your statement "every single station on the planet would love to see this nation crumble and fall" is just plain wrong. I have visited a lot of different countries, both for work and pleasure, and did not see this view common. Leaving politics out of it, I...

    Cartridge extraction

I'll comment again. I have shot a lot of brass that I have not resized at all, after it had been shot in the same rifle that it was reloaded for. The only reason to neck size is to completely seal the bullet to the inside of the case neck. I was interested in seeing if there was any performance...

SW CO Elk summer scouting tips?

I am assuming you are going to buy an OTC bull tag. Unit 75 is close to Durango and lots of locals and outfitters hunt it. Expect an "orange army" there. Lots of pressure in 74 too. Lake City is in the center of 76 and has lots of really high country to the west. 78 also has lots of high...

SW CO Elk summer scouting tips?

Do you have a specific unit? 60's/70"s cover the whole gamit, from 14,000" to 6,000'. During June the elk will be high, following the snow line, to stay out of the heat and bugs. During 3rd season, they very well could be gone out of the high country, totally depending on the weather and snow. I...

    Canada Gun Ban!

When I read the story, it said 10 & 12 ga WITH interchangeable chokes were banned, not 10 & 12 ga WITHOUT the screw in chokes. That was my take.

    Cartridge extraction

Just remember...everything (the receiver, bolt, barrel, chamber and ammo) is built with tolerances to the nominal dimensions. Build up of these +/- tolerances can result in things being on the small or large side and still be within design specifications. Looks like you should just shoot it...

No question the Winchesters (right side) are creating more pressure. The primers are a lot flatter. Your M110 might have a chamber on the tight side and cause this. I would take it to a smith and have it checked.

    Official Post Padding Thread

Been absolutely beautiful here the last couple of weeks. Mid 60's to mid 70"s and down to 50 or so at night. Have had several days of wind. Lots of spraying for weeds, fertilizing and irrigating.

I would buy another box of ammo from a different mfgr and try it. Can't hurt.

Yep. I'd say pressure differences between the 2 loads.
