In the unit I hunter a couple of years ago in south Colorado, I camped at over 9,000'. Lots of antelope there too.

As usual your videos are superb. I had a deer tag (along with 3 others) in the unit effected by the Mullen fire, so no hunt this year. Great bull, congratulations.

Especially hunting buddies. In the pas 5 years I have lost 3 hunting buddies that I have hunted with for 60 years. Can't be replaced, but thankfully I still have the memories and pictures. The real problem for me is finding someone to replace them. Most guys my age around here don't hunt anymore.

Several years ago someone brought up the idea of a member get together. There are quite a few state parks that have group camping areas. I think it would be a lot of fun to get together for a weekend (or more) so we can meet other forum members. Anyone have other ideas ? What say...

The only problem I've had is carrying the replacement blades is a pain in the butt. I do carry them in the field and a few blades. I also keep any dull blades and take them with for disposal later. I never buy a knife without looking at it first. I usually buy mine at a gun show as there are...

That's why I don't buy cheap knives. I've been using the same pocket knife (Case), 4" 2 blade folder (Case), both are older high carbon steel and over 50 years old. I also have a custom skinner that is 40 years old. Keep sharp & clean and they won't let you down.

I would soak it in hot water to start with.

Never piloted an airplane, but I worked on plenty of them.
