    Wyoming Antelope 73 or 32

Thanks for the link. I checked the unit I usually hunt for antelope and no type 6 tags again this year.

    Wyoming Antelope 73 or 32

Hilltop is spot on. In the last couple of years there has been lots of change in some of the units. One I like to hunt had all the type 6 doe/fawn tags tags cancelled after they said there would some for the drawing. I had noticed for several years the amount of antelope had started to decline.

    Ruger No 1 .300 Weatherby

Got the scope back from Leupold and remounted it, bore sighted and off to the range, probably next Monday. Get it sighted in and then I'll install the new ballistic turret Leupold made. Then I'll get to work at 200 yards and out to 500. I'll be taking my chronograph to see what these loads are...

    6.5-300 Weatherby

If you like the gun and end up buying on, you can probably make the brass out of .300 Wby , .270 Wby or 7mm Wby cases. Just another reason to reload.

Primer Seat Depth, Consistency and ES

I seat my primers flush with the case. I use my Rock Chucker. I generally don't measure, trim or change the primer pocket once I've measured it and started using it. If the pocket changes, I can feel it when I am seating the primer. Been doing it this way since I started. I used to use a lot...

Wolves Placed Back on Endangered List

The Humane Society and the other groups that filed suit, looked for a Judge and area that they knew they would get the result they got. Judge in California ruling on wolves in the Great Lakes....give me a break!

    Elk hunt Colorado unit 61

I also am looking at 61, but have not made up my mind about it. I am right on the edge for a resident. I'll send you a PM and we can talk about it some more.

    Elk hunt Colorado unit 61

I assume you are a non resident. Last year it took 22, so you are borderline providing there is no point creep.

    Bald eagle vs. Canadian goose

We have quite a few Bald Eagles around here all year. They are always sitting in the cottonwood trees overlooking my pond trying to pick off a Canada Goose gosling in the spring. They get one now and then.

NASCAR Race at the LA Coliseum

We got there at 10:00 am for the heat races. The main started at 3:00. A lot of people didn't show up for the early stuff. It was crowded. I was going to buy a hat and a T shirt, but they were waiting in line for over an hour. Luckily, the beer line was a lot smaller and faster! LOL

NASCAR Race at the LA Coliseum

It's hard to imagine how loud it was. I wore my custom shooting ear plugs and still hear the roar of the cars.

NASCAR Race at the LA Coliseum

Yep Logano won. It was a hoot, especially with my friends. Drank a few brewskis and yelled a lot.

NASCAR Race at the LA Coliseum

Just got back from a great trip to southern California for the first ever NASCAR race at the LA Coliseum. Went with a life long friend and his 2 sons. My friend and I went to our first race together in 1959 and have been to quite a few over the years.
