    Tomorrow's The Day

Back home after a very successful 4 hour surgery. It unreal what they can do today, 4 to 5 inch incision over L1 thru L5 , cleaned up lots of bone and made more room for the nerves. All the back pain is gone except for the area where they did the cutting and it's not bad at all. Walked a mile...

    Tomorrow's The Day

I have been having some back issues for a long time and tomorrow I am having surgery to fix it. I have Stenosis in L1 thru L5 in my lower back. Tried steroid injections (worked for awhile, not now), PT and lost a bunch of weight (55+ pounds). They all helped, but now it's time to let the surgeon...

    CO License Distribution Info

It was an antelope tag in northern Colorado. My hunting buddy and I had antelope tags for Wyoming and I would hunt the Colorado antelope on our way home. Colorado has a short season compared to Wyoming. When we were hunting in Wyoming, I got a call that my Dad had passed away in California. We...

    CO License Distribution Info

What happens is that if you are a resident and you want to apply for one of the hybrid draw units, you put it as first choice. They take a certain number of the hybrid draw unit tags (It varies by unit depending on the number of tags allocated to the unit) and after they have drawn all the...

Should have asked for a Warrant

I used to feel the way Alabama feels about this, but my mind got changed a few years ago. BACKGOUND I have a Concealed Carry Permit here in Colorado. They are issued by the County you reside in. Here in Colorado anyone who can legally own a firearm can carry it in their vehicle loaded and...

    CO License Distribution Info

I found something that either CP&W made a mistake or they are considering changing. I the current 2022 Regulations, Hybrid Draw is for residents only. It clearly states that Resident Preference Point only are used in the Hybrid Draw. On the first page under Hybrid Draw omits the residents...

Should have asked for a Warrant

I saw the video a couple of days ago on another site I use a lot. If it were me in the same situation, I would have sent them packing. No warrant, no talking and get the hell off my property. Come back with a warrant and me and my attorney will talk to you.

    Wyoming outfitters tags ?

I have hunted Wyoming as a nonresident almost every year since 1980. I have made many friends there and wanted to move there when I retired in 2000, just couldn't convince my wife (she doesn't like the wind! LOL). In all the years I have only had one negative experience (had a trailer hitch...

    .300 PRC Video Overview

I don't have any trajectory charts, but I can speak to the subject regarding .300 Wby & .30-06 as I have both and load for both of them. It is impossible to get both of these 2 to have comparable ballistics with the SAME bullet weights. I load my .300 Wby with 180 gr Nosler Partitions and my...

    Wyoming outfitters tags ?

Me too. The bad thing is I'll bet this is already cast in stone and they are just going thru the motions so they can say we did everything by the book.

    Ruby marsh

Love it there too. My Great, Great Grandfather was stationed at Fort Ruby during the Civil War guarding the gold shipments from California to Washington DC.

    .300 PRC Video Overview

I love it too. In all the years I have been reloading (probably around 65), it was the easiest rifle to work up a load for of all the rifles I have owned. Granted I am a lot smarter about reloading than I was when I was younger, but hit on the load on the 3rd try. Saved lots of powder, primers &...

    At 56 it is tough

I'll be 81 this fall, so you have a ways to go. I went on a diet 18 months ago. I have lost #60, still looking to lose a little more. It is difficult to lose much more than a pound or 2 a week. I cut down on the carbs and a lot smaller portions. I eat lots of fresh fruit, melon and green salads...

    .300 PRC Video Overview

I have been shooting a .300 Wby for years and it does the job for me. My reloads are deadly. My son has a ,300 RUM that we load for also. I have chronographed both of them and each has their area they do well. With 180 gr bullets, my Wby is better IMO, but when you go to 200 grainers, the RUM...

    ? On Initial Evals of a Rifle/Build

Either are fine. I generally use Acraglass. I also use JB Weld when I want strength. If the wood is soft or has a defect, I use it. Make sure you are liberal in the use of the release compound.

    ? On Initial Evals of a Rifle/Build

I would definitely glass bed it. The .35 will probably shoot heavier bullets and have more recoil. The glass bedding will strengthen the stock and provide more stability.

    ? On Initial Evals of a Rifle/Build

Before you start shooting, tell me about the stock. You re-barreled the action. Is the new barrel the same outside diameter and contour as the original? Is the stock glass bedded? I would glass bed the action and float the barrel before you do any shooting. I am assuming that the action is...
