He passed away on December 7th. He broke the sound barrier and was a WWII ace. He was also a avid fishermen and Hunter. Rip Chuck you were a great American Hero.
Great video. This Hunter passed this buck at 3.5 and he was 200 inches then. I don't think most hunters would have done that. The deer was only 4 yrs old. Mr. Don Higgins is a well known whitetail expert who is friends with the Wensel brothers. He has his own farm in Illinois.
Sorry for your loss. Life is to short not to enjoy it. Spend lots of quality time with your kids and enjoy the outdoors. I wish we all knew when our time is up, but we don't get that luxury.
I'll apply for my normal stuff in WY. I have a good friend who will probably draw an elk tag in WY, and he'll need my help. I might cash in my CO deer points. Also might book another whitetail hunt somewhere.
I just got into Flyfishing. It's fun and very addictive. I also help my friend trap in the winter. I shoot my bow a lot bad attend the club 3D leagues.
I have a friend in Cody whose buddy drew a bighorn sheep tag in grizzly. He was bowhunting solo and shot a ram. He was packing out and fell and broke his leg. He had no cell service and crawled about a mile on his belly. He finally got cell service and my friend and some other guys came and...
I've never used the Vapor Trail, but I do use a Trophy Taker Smackdown Pro. I've used this rest on my last four bows. The cord has never been a problem for me and I hunt in some thick stuff.
I have a 27" draw length and pull 65lbs. With you having a 30" draw you'll be fine at 55-60lbs. This poundage will be friendly to your shoulders and you'll have no problem killing elk.
I agree with all the comments above. You should go and try on different brands and see which one fits your feet best. I like Kennetrek Mountian Extremes. I have both insulated and unisulated. You want boots with good ankle support.
