Chester sent his dog out to see if there were any ducks in the pond. "If there aren't many ducks out there, I'm not going hunting". The dog comes back and barks twice. Chester says, "Well I'm not going to go out. He only saw two ducks out there". Earl says, "You're going to take the dog's...

    California's new Ammunition Law

Na, Andy didn't have any bullets and Barney kept his single bullet in his shirt pocket Whenever he loaded up that .38 he ended up shooting a hole in the floor. But he couldn't wait until the 4th of July when he was allowed to start the races with his pistol.

    Coot hunting in nm

I have a wild game cookbook that has a number of recipes for coots/mudhens. As to where to find them, as was mentioned if there are other ducks there will be coots. Even if there are not other ducks there should be coots around a pond that holds ducks sometimes during the year.

    Adjusting to the Elevation

Where are you going to be at before you hike in? If anything a couple of good walks around the area that you are going to be at will help your body get acclimated to the altitude and even a couple of short hikes will help out a lot. Just remember, drink lots of water and stay away from the...
