I like my badlands. It's much quieter than a lot of the cordura fabrics that are out there. It holds all of my unnecessary junk that for some reason I continue to carry with me. lol

That was quite a meat cache. Clearly, they had dealt with bears before in that area. Would have loved to see those dogs running that bear off I bet that was some intense barking action....lol

^^^ We beached my big rig at 3:30 AM on a Lake Ontario sandbar on our way to our duck hunting spot and had to do something very similar...it involved a fence post and multiple loops of decoy cord and a pair of jumper cables....but we got it off that bar...lol Everyone had a frowny face that...

I would love to have GPS data on that deer after he is dead and gone just to see how he survived. I bet you it would be eye opening as to that deer's habits.

My advice: Get him off that thing before he ends up in a wheelchair, having his parents give him sponge baths for the rest of his life like my friend Phil did. Phil was also "chasing adrenaline". Now he can't move anything but his head. He was 15 when it happened. Just saying.

Its 25 degrees here in GA with a 40 MPH wind. The deer were impatiently waiting at the feeder for it to go off this morning. Pretty sure I saw one of the fawns shivering...lol
