    One Tough & Hungry Cat

That’s unreal! I wonder too what the condition the cat was after that. I can’t imagine it was unscathed.

    Another Grizzly Attack

I’d rather a bullet In the leg that be eaten alive. Good think he had a side arm.

    2022 Eastmans' Elk Success Thread

My daughter working a story on her fist bull elk she took in the Caascasds of Oregon. It’s not a monster bull but for the area it’s a real nice archery elk. The unit generally has a 3% success rate on 6 point or better. I’m super proud of her, she’s something else that one.

    4 wheel drive projects

I’ve got it down to a science in the Jeep. I can swap engines in about 10 hours. If I had a spare bell housing, flywheel and clutch set up I could cut a couple hours off it. That’s about another $1500 In parts though.

    4 wheel drive projects

It’s been a fun summer with the Ol black Jeep. Made a dune trip, three sand drags events, local car show and have a 1/8 asphalt race in about a week. Lost the 383 after the sand dune trip so I put the 427 back in. So

    Daughters first bull

My daughter has been tagging along with me for 10 years when I go bow hunting elk in the Cascade mountains. Last years she decided she wanted to start packing a bow too. She connected on her first elk last Saturday with a 9 yard shot. I’m super proud of her grit and desire, it not an easy place...

    Where are you...

I’m surprised no one has asked how far the is the shot. I’m not that good at shooting a bow so beyond 20 yards I need it to stop. I would lean towards blue more than red. If I errored I would rather hit shoulder than gut.

    What pistol?

I don’t worry about toting a pistol for black bears or Mt Lions. I live in Oregon where they run amuck those critters are more scared of me than I am of them.

    When do you start...

I’m struggling this year, my knee is jacked up again amd I have a pinched nerve in my neck causing numbness in my right hand. On top of that no tags drawn this year, general seasons in Oregon is my only opportunity. Typically I do ok on general season hunts but it’s been 5 years since I’ve had...

    4 wheel drive projects

I thought I was done but I guess as long as I continue to beat up on it I never will be. The wheelie bars I was running are for Aspahlt racing and did t hold up the the abuse of the dirt track , so I’m building a bar that will handle the dirt/sand. I’m using an ATV paddle tire for the simple...
