If I had it to do over I would have put a 454 in my hunting rig. I does ok with the 350 but when pulling the travel trailer it is pretty weak. Fuel mileage sucks too when pulling. I only put about 5000 miles a year on it so I think the 350 will be in there for a while.

You just need a garden Variety 454. The beauty of Chevrolet is a big block will bolt right in, all you need to change is exhaust and ECM.

Yeah, those 350’s aren’t much for power. They will run forever though! You’ll have to drop in one of the new Chevy 632’s that would pull your trailer just fine.
