Ok, so I have to take back what I said yesterday about e-mails coming very quickly after CC hits. I have a $40.24 CC hit (resident) but no e-mail yet.

Yeah, it doesn't do much good to check credit card hits for Colorado since the e-mails come so fast anyway.

I agree good scopes are fairly waterproof these days (although nothing is completely water/fog proof) but even the good ones are still a little difficult to see through if the lens is covered with rain drops. I have a great scope but I still use scope caps on it.

We should probably start at 1 for every 50 kid … don't wanna get greedy ...

I only used my old pre-64 model 70 Winchester in 30-06 for about 50 years. Great rifle and there's still nothing wrong with it. A little while ago I got the same feeling as Bonecollector and I decided what the heck. So I had a .28 Nosler custom made … there's a thread about it on here...

Interesting article! At the end Dan says the environmentalists and “bear lover”s want "at least 50,000 bears (citing Lewis and Clark’s estimated numbers) but it seems like Lewis and Clark's estimates most likely wouldn't be very accurate ... and why do they believe that's the "right number"...

I hunted WY for antelope a couple of times. I went 1st season and it was fine … plenty of antelope running around. But I wasn't trophy hunting, just looking for nice bucks. Having said that, I'll bet 2nd season is great also and that 100% chance to draw looks pretty good to me.

I've only been on a couple of guided hunts and they were, as you said, a "great hunting experience". Because of that I tipped 40% for one and 50% for the other. I figured they earned it.
